Overview
This scholarship was established by alumnus Mr Lawrence 'Buz' Green AM (Buz Green) of Devonport to provide assistance to a commencing or continuing student in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Agriculture and Agribusiness at the University of Tasmania. Mr Green has based his long career in research and innovation in the application of science to achieve improved and sustainable outcomes in agricultural production.
Eligibility
- Available to a student commencing or continuing study in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Agriculture and Agribusiness in Semester 1, 2027.
- Selection will be based on financial need and academic merit, with a preference for a Tasmanian student from a rural background who has a demonstrated history of extra-curricular experience or involvement in agricultural activities.
