Overview
This scholarship is generously provided by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) - Tasmanian Branch, the medical college responsible for the training and professional development of ophthalmologists in Australia and New Zealand.
Applications for the award are to be at the start of Semester 2 of Year 2 of the degree course, ready for project preparation in Year 3, commencement in Year 4 and continuation into Year 5. Specific Ophthalmology MD projects will be offered to these recipients as part of the scholarship.
Selection will be based on application only.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is available to students who are going into their third year of study in Semester 1, 2027 in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine undertaking their MD Professional Practice Project in the area of ophthalmology.
