Overview
This scholarship is provided from the estate of the late Dr Vivian Barlow, who spent the final years of his life in Tasmania and wished to assist medical students with the costs of accommodation.
Eligibility
- Available to a student commencing the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine degree in 2027 and who will need to move away from home in order to undertake the course.
- Selection will be based on academic merit and financial need.

On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
