Overview
This scholarship is provided by the late Mr William Imrie Taylor, a retired engineer from Orford, who bequeathed a sum of money to the University to support a student to undertake an Honours year in Medical Science.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who is commencing an Honours research course (M4G or M4N) in Semester 1, 2027 in a field relevant to dementia, supervised through the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre.
- The student must be enrolled in the Tasmanian School of Medicine within the College of Health and Medicine.
- Selection will be based upon academic merit and demonstration of financial need.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
