This prize was established by Christian Stoermer in support of Astronomy at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
Awarded to a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) student, studying with the School of Physics, with the highest result over the course of their degree in:
· KYA428 Advanced Astrophysics
· KYA305 Stellar and Planetary Physics
· KYA306 Galactic and Extragalactic Astrophysics or
· KYA424 General Relativity
Preference will be given to the student who also submits the best thesis paper on theoretical or computational astrophysics.
